Fresh Start is a nonprofit organization dedicated to helping women help themselves. They do this through the work of the Jewell McFarland Lewis-Fresh Start Women's Resource Center.
The mission of The Bridge is:
» Assistance and housing for at-risk families to recover from homelessness for up to 2 years.
» Education, job readiness, independent living and life skills are provided for adults.
» A variety of activities to meet the spiritual and emotional needs of the children.
» Matches families with church volunteer teams for added support.
» 85% of those families graduating from The Bridge remain self-sufficient.
